Those days

I know I'm blessed to be born and brought up in my family.
And being the youngest in the family I concede it brings so much benefit.
This is best reflected when go for a trip.
The youngest one always don't have to pay up almost anything. *giggle*

Been to Genting Highland with my eldest sister and parents during the 3 days break last week.
Credited to my dad's friend, Uncle Yong who was so generously provided us rooms for free in Highland Hotel, the most luxurious hotel among all!
Well but he did not burn his fingers by doing that since he has thousands of points accumulated from gambling which he couldn't able to finish spending in Genting.
On top that, I savored the most delicious steamed fish in my life by Uncle Yong's lunch treat.
The fish was so fresh that even meat tasted like toufu, or even smoother than toufu, not exxagerated.
That's why the fish costing RM25 per 100gram.
And guess what, the fish we ate was about 1.3kg. So u can estimate the price.
And hence, it was also the most expensive lunch that I ever had which almost RM1k, only my family 4 person eating, Uncle Yong didn't eat at all since he said he was full.
Yes you're right, he treated us such expensive meal yet he starred us eating.
I did not snap the pictures of the dishes cos it was quite shameful to do so. It would be like red-neck and my dad would reproach me for doing such childish act in front of him.

Anyhow I don't know why I don't take much photos in Genting though.

I like the feels in this photo.

 Alike much?

We don't know there is such a huge and beautiful temple in Genting until we were drove by free shuttle bus to here!
Studying with him. Pls bless me smarter =P
It was also the 1st time that I managed to step into Genting casino even though I had went to Macau casino.
It's impossible to sit on the sidelines of the casino, especially after you sneaking around and stalking the gamblers winning money.
Both my sis and I had particularly the most interest in the Roulette Wheel as this can earn more than 10 times if you win.
And here the story of not listening to old words and lose out in front.
She took out 100 bucks.Which can only change to 4 chips as each chips costing RM25.
My mum asked us to buy 31 as it was the last 2 no. of our room number 9331.
We never listened. I've forgotten what we put our chips on and it turned out to be 31!
Nevermind. In the 2nd round my sis asked me to put a chip in between of 19, 20, 22 and 23 in another roulette wheel table.
Then she went away to another table to look at other game.
My mind was like putting on a strain when the dealer spinned the ball and the wheel.
And I murmured in my heart that the game would be pretty pls.
The chill sent up through my spine when the ball dropped on no.31 again.
BOOOOM! I could imagine myself being striken by thunder heavily.
3rd attempt. A feeble attempt.
My sis asked me to put the chip on 31.
It ended up on 14. Which is the number right beside 31.
This was seriously when life gives you lemons.
4th attempt. Well u already knew the ending.
100 bucks all donated to Mr Lim's fund.

Hey 4 chips is just too little!
How can minimal amount of a chip be rm25??
It should have RM5 for a chip like the one in Macau and I swear I will throw money out of myself if it were so.
At least I can play 10 times with 50 bucks but not only 2 times.
I know I sound like inveterate gambler here.

Don't ask me what I did in Genting spending 2 nights there cos I also don't know how I went through that.
I did not go to Theme park as I think I'm too old for that.
I just lost my excitement with roller coaster and all that stuff.
Shopping, strolling with the cold wind breezing, eating...
Yes, when you are bored, you tend you feel hungry and you will eat.
Yes I concede that I ate a lot in Genting.
Dim Sum, nasi lemak, Bak Kut Teh, Sardine, Ice-cream........
OMG my diet plan failed gao gao.
We actually parked our car at cable-car's car park and we transported with cable- car.
Not the st time doing that though. To save fuel and to protect my dad's poor BMW.

There is reason that I decried my dad's BMW is poor and it's true that the car's sturdy appearance lied and it has mere facade.
The car was 2nd hand and it had problem here and there.
First with engine, then with cooler, then with the speed meter blah blah blah.
My dad had contributed thousand and thousand bucks to repair the car whenever there was problem.
The time we went leave Genting and there was another car's problem.
When we visited my dad's friend who lives in a Mont Kiara's condominium,
my dad opened the car window of my seat when we passed through the security guardhouse.
DOOOP! The window went all the down to the bottom and hided inside!
Couldn't close back anymore!
It's like OMG......
Luckily there were roofed car park there.
After visiting his friend, wind blew and my hair flew all the way from Mont Kiara to my house in Sunway.
Problem arose as the rain decided to gush down from the heaven and drenched the world below.
My parents insisted to drive back to tampin with the rain spouting into the passengers' seat!
Not that it will wet but I thought I was very dangerous to do so.
Luckily rain stopped when they reached nilai and they were safe.
Finally my dad decided to change car cos he also cannot tahan anymore.
So my advice, never buy 2nd hand car, even if it's a BMW.
The condition of the car can be much worst than you can expect.
