Bangkok Food Trip

sorry for the procrastination.....
it has been a long period...
pls forgive me for my laziness...

I dont want to have such opening in my ALMOST EVERY blog posts anymore.
Cos even if i mention i will still never ever change the bad habit to update my blog regularly.
Assignments or exams are not longer good excuses, faineant is the only reason and I know it.
So much to share actually and I shall start with my Bangkok trip which was during my one month study break.

We stayed at at a small hotel known as KC Place.
Even though the hotel was small, the appearance and the condition is surprisingly beyond the expectation. Given the hotel price one night per room was only RM89!
I forgot to snap the pictures of the bedroom. Anyway I liked the couch a lot as it was so comfy and I slept on it for an hour in the afternoon after we checked in to the hotel!
Small bathroom but in very good condition.
The view through the window from my room a secondary school. They were playing ball during the class break and it reminded me of a Thai movie 初恋这件小事 First Love!

It is quite true that Thai food is appetizing and delectable
provided that you do not too attentive or particular with the HYGIENE as all the stalls were just located beside the hustle and bustle roads.
Thai Pineapple is one of the MUST try fruit as it tastes much juicy and fruity sweet. I don't like pineapple one but yet I finished up one whole big of pineapple.

One of the Thai main culture for having food stalls everywhere along the road selling grilled foods and I didn't really have the appetite to try.

However, this stall selling butter toasts was an exceptional.
God knows how much I like toast *reason why my body size is like toast*
I think this woman has been selling toast for years as it is not an easy job to grill toasts to the texture of outside crispy and softy inside, which sparked my savour all the day after trying and bought it again for breakfast on the next morning!

Such a irresistable hot weather so Thailand Coconut is the fruit that couldn't be let off!

 MANGO STICKY RICE!
I cried for this food from the very 1st day we reached Bangkok and finally had a savoured on the last day when I almost gave up looking for this!
I always amazed with the chicness of Thai ppl to find out such a wonderful mixture of Mango fruit and Nasi Pulut!
And it had never let me down as the taste were still that savory since my first tried in Hatyai!

I even tried their MCD chicken rice. But it;s not really nice anyway.
And most importantly the Pork Burger which I will never ever had a chance to savor in Malaysia!
I felt satisfied even though it is not as nice as I expected haha!!

Since my mum, sis and me did not really have the courage to try the stalls food so we settled our meal in shopping malls' food court.
We found the TOMYAM KUNG in Palladium Mall foodcourt was awesome!
I knew Tomyam was such a common dish in Thai but this was the tastiest among all other I have tried in all other places in Bangkok!
OMG I miss TOMYAM KUNG now!!

Bangkok River Cruise and Floating Market

As it named Floating Market, I thought all the stalls would be on the boat and floating all the way.
But this was real for only a small part of the Bangkok Floating Market and in fact it was connected to the land and the major part was Land Market
The real Floating Market was at Damnoen Saduak which had to take about 2 hrs driving distance.

I love this Ice cream Bread!
Had this in Singapore few years ago but couldn't find this in Malaysia!

Coconut Jelly in the coconut. So special and I like this too!

My dad bought and ate grilled crabs on the boat
While eating he threw the crabs shell to the river just so smoothly!
I blamed him for polluting the river but he said it will decompose and was assisting the recycle of bioorganism!

China Town
There was actually uncountable food in China town but I did not able to snap many photos there cos my family walking pace were so fast and always left me behind! =.=
Fragrant smell were drifting from everywhere yet we did not try much as our stomach storage were quite limited since we already eating all the day

The biggest cherry that I ever see! Even my sis claimed that she never came across such big cherries in the UK.
The nicest Cherry I had in my life I can say!

This was macaroni yet was cooked in Asian style hot plate.
Couldn't resist the fragrant smell so we ordered one!

The food posted were only about half of what we really had in Bangkok
I did not always get to snap pictures of the foods when my dad was around as his motion was so swift after the food were put down on our table = =
Anyway I will update the Bangkok Shopping trip in the next post so stay tuned!!
Hope it wont take too long
